Athletics

On Tuesday my school had athletics. The activities that we did for athletics was Distance, Sprints, Discus, long jump, shot put and High jump. For shot put I came 1st in the 10 years old boys. All boys and girls got split into groups. On athletics day parents and family were there. Before we done athletics, we first done sprints.

Lot’s of kids came 1st, 2nd and 3rd. For sprints I came like 5th or 4th. Before me and the boys were getting started for sprints I was praying in my head. As we entered the starting line, there were lots of people that were way faster than me. After sprints we all moved on to the other activities.

The first activity that I went into was shot put. In Shot put I came 1st. After that activity we all moved into distance. After distance we moved into long jump, then after that we moved into discus and the lucky last one was high jump. As people were jumping for high jump, there were only 3 people that were left for the challenge, and all 3 boys made it over until 2 boys lost. After high jump athletics was finished.

I will be talking about lion’s and what they eat and where they live. In my report there will be some incredible pictures in it. There will be some amazing facts about lion’s in my report. I will be also talking about the lion’s prey. I will also be talking about what lions eat, hunt and kill. In my report there will be some other animals and other creature in my report. Things about lions...

Lions are one of the most dangerous creatures in the world.  Lions are very social cats and live in groups called prides. ... With both types of lion prides, the females stay put. All of the females in a pride are usually related to each other because females tend to stay with the pride in which they are born.

Pet lion’s..

Some lions are family pets with other people. There are days when people are sleeping and hugging lions, but sometimes they do get a bit ruff and then they will end up killing you by scratching and biting with their sharp teeth#Nails

African lion’s

African lions are the most social of all big cats and live together in groups or “prides. African lions are the king of the Jungle’s.

Lions eat lots of other animals like wildebeest  impala, zebra, giraffe, buffalo and wild hogs to sometimes rhinos and hippos. They also eat smaller animals such as hares, birds and reptiles. Lions are also known to attack elephants when food is scarce.

Lions do one of the loudest roars in the world. Lions mostly battle with tigers. The lion first scratch the tiger in the face then put it on the ground and kill it. Lions are one of the biggest cats in the world. Some lions are bald and other lions have lots of hair around their scary looking head.

My opinion is that I know that lions eat tigers and snakes and other prey. Lion’s prey are buffalo, Tiger’s and Anacondas. The prey that lions hunt the most are tiger’s and anaconda.  They battle each other like it’s a war. The king of the jungle mostly win all of their wars. Most lions have a happy life.

Conclusion...

I have told you that lion’s are the most dangerous creatures in the world. I have put some interesting fact’s in my report like that lions do one of the loudest roars. I have talked about lions and I have put pictures about lions so I hope that you have learnt something.

Canterbury swim school

Today is the beginning of the end of Canterbury swim school. It is now the last amazing day to do swimming lessons with our swimming instructor. It was still sunny but a very sad day because it is the last day of swimming lessons. We have all been having a awesome two weeks at Canterbury swim school.

Today is our last day at Canterbury swim school. For today's swimming we have to wear either Sleeping clothes or old clothes. We were all told that under our clothes we have to wear a spear top underneath our clothes. Today we will be learning about safety things and how to save other people. How to save other people when their drowning, is that you have to use  any equipment to save your target.

My best goal is to try not to touch the ground and lying down with my arm pointing up in the air but still floating. To be honest but I haven't reach one of my goals.

For the past 1 day we have been learning safety jump. Yesterday was the day we done safety jump. We have been learning about buble and breathing, Freestyle and backstroke.

For past two weeks at Canterbury swim school my goals were to do, two laps none stop. My other other goal was to listen to the instructor and do the right thing.I have a big feeling that I have improved all my goals because I  have  working hard.

For the past 1 day we have been learning safety jump. Yesterday was the day we done safety jump. We have been learning about buble and breathing, Freestyle, backstroke and kicking.

Aisa's swimming lessons.

It was a sunny and it was a good start for school. It was a nice day to take a dip in the pool, but anyway we got to go swimming. It  was term 4. Term 4 look’s like it will be a hot term.

Me and the other person jumped in the pool with our Instructor. The other person's name was Ryleigh. Me and Ryleigh were learning how to blow under water. We both also learnt how to do free style. Free style is when you swim and breath out when you swim. We both also learnt how to kick our feet well we swim. We both done that around and around a cercal.

Reading D.L.O

This term I have learning about Freak the Mighty. I had to make a google drawing and put the important part of the story in the google drawing. The important part of the story is when Killer Kane kidnapp's his own son Kevin. This story is in a book called Freak the mighty. I have been reading Freak the Mighty for 4 week's.

The Partly cloud

The cloud was pink, and it was shiny, It looked like little stars shining in your face. Every time you look at the cloud It would look like you're in space. The clouds are soft when you touch it.  I always fly through the shiny clouds, also every time I fly through the clouds It would look like I’m in a beautiful place. Every time I would look at the sky it would look like the cloud is waving at you. The clouds were pretty amazing. The clouds always make this place look shinny and beautiful. I would always hang out with the cloud and talk to it. Sometimes I sleep up there with the clouds. Clouds are now my favorite things to look at.

My name is Fluffy and I’m a bird. I live in this shiny and fluffy looking cloud.  I like dropping off things that make the day happy. I order things from happy clouds. Clouds help me get things to make the day happy. Me and my friends were flying through the clouds and the clouds were really really shiny. I went to one of the clouds and touched it. When I touched it the cloud changed into a cloud person. The cloud person gave me a puppy with some call toy’s. The cloud person told me to start giving them out to kids that were in the city.

The cloud that I worked for was nice and shinny. I looked down and saw another cloud and that cloud was stormy and dark. The cloud was filled with darkness. The stormy cloud was shooting out rain and lightning. The cloud was also lonely. I went up to that cloud and said if he wanted me to work for hm. The cloud started  giving me toys and gifts to deliver to kids to make the day happy. I delivered the first thing. The first thing was a little puppy. The kids were enjoying the playing with the puppy. After that I went back to the cloud. Well I was flying to the cloud, I could see that the cloud was trying to make something. I went up to the cloud asked if he had any more presents for me to take to the amazing kids that are not having fun. The cloud had a bag in his hands, then he opened it and then something that had big spikes, started to run really fast at me. I quickly got the bag and put the spikey thing in there. After I dropped off the spiky thing, I came back with spikes on my head. After that I asked for another present. The cloud looked confused, until I told him again. The cloud turned the other way and was creating something. The cloud turned back around with a gigantic shark. “I've had enough” I said.  The poor cloud was lonely again. The poor cloud saw me with another cloud. I could hear lightning coming from the lonely cloud. When the other cloud gave me something the lonely cloud started to  cry because the cloud thinks that I’m working for that cloud. The lonely cloud was shooting out rain well he was crying. I came back to the lonely cloud with ammor. The lonely cloud was now happy. He created something else. The thing he created was a eel. The eel was kind of hurting me but it was ok. After that the cloud gave me and the eel a lovely hug. Later on the sun came up and people were having fun. Finally today is a happy day.

Zones of the ocean...

 This term I having been working on my ocean zones. I have been learning about Sunlight, Twilight and midnight. I have learnt lots and lots about the ocean zones. 

 In the sunlight zone there are Tuna fishes. Also in Twilight there are Shrimps, Sword fish and hatchet fish, and the last one Midnight zone. In midnight zone there Angler fishes, giant squids and Tripod fishes. 

I have been working hard on this ocean zone thing just for all of you's. Hope you enjoy the zones of the ocean.

All about our Extravaganza

The past 2 weeks classroom has been working on a performance. When we were practicing our performance we got split into groups.

The groups were called We Don't Know How Lucky We Are, Six Month on a Leaky Boat, Chains  I see red, Garter Black, Slice of Heaven and How Bazaar.

The group that I was chosen in was We Don't Know How Lucky We Are. My group were working hard on this dance we have made up. In the dance my group were doing, I had to do a solo part. The solo is when I have to lip sync to when Fred Dagg talks.

On Wednesday and Thursday was when we all performed. I could tell that some people were nervous but they still performed good. What was good is that all the tickets were sold which meant that lots of people were coming to the High School Hall to watch us All about our perform.

We performed last night at the high school hall and now performing again because its for other people that didn't watch last night. Pacific, Kapahaka and all the classes performed.

The past 2 weeks me and my school class have been doing a slide. Also I had a group. I and the group were practicing a dance. The song that we practice was called we don't know how lucky we are. I have been working hard on this slide. All of these things were hard.

The kind of work that I had to do was find things on the internet about Fred dagg, when was he born and when did he die. It took 2 weeks for me to get this work finished and completed.

Easter Island creation.

W.A.L.T: Create a modal that shares something we have learnt about our mysteries...

We have been learning about Easter Island. We have created a modal on Easter island . The people that are in my group were Lyan, Travis, Joshua and Keyana. Ats the start of making the island we put news paper around the whole island, then after that we put paper all over the island then Lyan and Keyana started to paint the island. How we created this is that we all helped each other.

 . The girls worked hard on painting the island. The girls have done well on painting the island. We all worked hard on the island. We have all done really good. We are glad that we have picked Easter isalnd for topic

 Me, Joshua and Travis have been creating the little Moais. Me, Travis and Joshua have been working hard on making the Moais. The whole group were proud of there selfs for getting the island finished. What we used to make the Moais is clay. We all worked hard on this island. The boys have done really good on making the Moais. The whole group has learnt lots and lots of Easter Island and moais.

This term me and my group have been learning about mysteries. I got to pick any mysteries I wanted, I picked the mysteries Moai because I wanted learn about Moai's. I have learnt lots about Moai. The great War

I was lying on my bed then outta nowhere I woke up in this place I was on this big boat.  Well I was on the boat I heard waves crashing into the boat.  After that the boat reached this strange island. There were people on the boat they all had guns. After we reached the island we all ran off the boat. I was running with my brother. Me and my brother were running until we both heard a noise like BOOM!!. Me and brother were sprinting away. We were both scared. I scared the heck out of me because a bomb was coming at me.

 My body was low I was shaking I was about to fall to the ground. I was scared to run I felt like I was going to fall but I didn’t. My brother told me to hurry up but I couldn't because I was to afraid. That day scariest day of my life.

All what I smelled in the war was just smoke. And also all what I see was guns shooting at me and the good army. I felt like I was going to die. Strange men were shooting at us. One person from the other army was dying. I tried to grab him but someone pulled me away. The captain of the good army was killed by a strange man in a different army.

The person that died was my grandpa. My grandpa was part of the army, he was  one of the captains in the army. In the war he was killed from a C4. My grandpa was like one of the best person in the army. I guest I should've listened to my grandpa. My grandpa told me to stay home but I said no I wanted to come for avenge. My grandpa said that he was going to hunt in the woods but he didn’t he went to war. My grandpa tried to lie to me so I don’t get scared.

The story was turned around I was back to my normal life. I didn’t remember anything but war. I got off my bed and went to my brothers room, the sun was out shining my grandpa and grandma was in the room with my brother. Secondly I told my grandpa That I had a letter. When I told my grandpa that I had a letter he snatched it off me. I thought to myself that he probably didn't want me to know about something. My grandpa was scared that I read the letter but I didn’t. My grandpa just didn’t want me to know about the great great WAR.

HOLIDAY IN SAMOA

On the holiday I went to samoa with my family. When you get to samoa you will be so so so so hot that you would want to go swimming straightaway What we did there was go swimming, going around the island, shopping and eating. The places I stayed in was Taga and Samatau. What I did in Samatau was that I climbed palm trees to get some coconut for our food and also go swimming. What I liked about samatau was that the beach was right next to our house. I also got to go on a big boat. There are three big boats in samoa and those boats take  us to every each island in samoa. I also got to go and catch 38 crabs with my samoan cousins. On sunday in samoa we went to church. What we we do in church is pray to god and learn about the bible and god. Then after church we get have a big BBQ with my family. Also on sundays we celebrated about jesus and god.In the night in samoa you get to go sleep with a net hanging across you. In samoa you can ride on cows, horses and dogs. Did you Know that samoa is one of the hottest place in the world. Did you also Know that the biggest spider is not dangerous but the little ones are. There are nomaly dogs on the road at night. Don’t ever walk on the road at night because the dog will come and bite!! You. When you go swimming in samoa you would need a samoan person that lives in Samoa so they can tell you stuff about the place you are going to swim because you might go to the wrong place to swim. Also the reason why you should be careful when you go swimming is because you might get sick .Also In samoa you should watch what you're eating because you might eat something that is bad then you will get a bad tummy. Did you pretty much Know that palm trees that are in samoa are like 9, 10, 12  feet tall. The islands in samoa are called Savai'i, Apia and Mamongo.

Me and my cousins in Samoa were being silly in the beach until we all heard a creepy noise. The creepy noise was creeping up on me and cousins. We all got out of the beach and grabbed onto a rope and tied it around a big tree. We all put food on the front of the rope then we throughed the rope into the water. Suddenly something grabbed the rope from under water. Me and my cousins tried to pull the rope up but the creature that grabbed the rope was too heavy. Then after we tried to pull up the the rope I said, Uncle come helps pull the rope up. My uncle came and he helped us. We pulled the rope up and we finally got the rope back up. The creature we found was a big shark.

This is a personal Information. On Thursday me  and my class went to the Hornby High school hall. There was someone that came to explain why you have to be careful when you are online. Me and my class have learnt about being safe online. So here Is a doc that I have made. This Doc shows about being careful online. What I had to do on this doc is create my own picture. This doc that I made tells you every information to do online. This document keeps you and other people safe online. The subject to use online is a phone, Laptop and a I pad. .
